Medfield Fire Department to Host Blood Drive on Sept. 7

The Medfield Fire Department will be hosting an American Red Cross blood drive on Sept. 7 at the Medfield Senior Center on Ice House Road.

The and the American Red Cross are teaming up to host a blood drive on Wednesday, Sept. 7, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Medfield Senior Center, One Ice House Rd. in Medfield. 

All presenting donors will receive a coupon for half off a one-day pass to Six Flags New England and they will also receive a coupon for a $12.99 oil change and free tire rotation, redeemable at any Monro Muffler/Brake location, or a coupon for $30 off any set of four tires, redeemable at any Tire Warehouse location. Prizes are not redeemable for cash and non-transferable.

All current and new donors are strongly urged to call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment. Individuals who are at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements. Identification is required at the time of donation.
