Injured Medfield Bicyclist Remains in Intensive Care
The man, 54, is at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Three days after falling from a bicycle, a Medfield resident remains in Intensive Care at a Boston trauma hospital.
The man, 54, has stable vital signs but still has significant injuries, said Police Chief Robert Meaney Jr. on Tuesday afternoon. The man sustained a head injury, as well as injuries to his arms, after apparently falling Saturday afternoon from his bicycle on Route 27. He was not wearing a helmet.
The man was flown by medical helicopter to Tufts Medical Center in Boston Saturday afternoon, where he remains a patient.
The man's identity has not been released by police.
