Here's a look at the Medfield police log for August 4 and August 5. 

Sunday, August 4

2:49 a.m., West Street. Abandoned E911 call. Police called back but got the answering machine. Police checked the building which was secure.

8:07 a.m., 10:08 a.m., 12:10 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's Church. 

8:52 a.m., Tilden Village.  E911 caller wanted to talk to police about threats he received. 

9:12 a.m., Main Street. Traffic control at United Church of Christ.

12:24 p.m., Pleasant Street. Caller reported a fight on the back deck. Police said there was no problem.

2:53 p.m., Juniper Lane. Caller asked for help after he locked himself out of the house. 

Sunday, August 4

[nothing noted in log before 6:19 p.m.]

6:19 p.m., Indian Hill Road. Norwood Police asked Medfield Police to check the neighborhood for a black Saab that was involved in a hit and run in Norwood. Police spoke with the driver who then spoke with Norwood Police.

7:36 p.m., Causeway Street. Alarm company said a burglar alarm had been activated. 

8:32 p.m., Main Street. A man came into the station to say he left his wallet at the ATM and when he went back it was gone. 

8:41 p.m., Pound Street. Walk-in report of kids riding around the school on bikes. Police responded and did not see the kids.
