Family Disturbance Leads to Arrest of Mattapan Man, and More

Here is a look at the Medfield safety logs for Nov. 11.

Monday, Nov. 11

9:49 a.m., Main Street. Caller said a neighbor is blowing leaves onto her property. Police spoke with the neighbor to see if they can remove the leaves.

10:30 a.m., High Street. A state trooper said he was out with a deer that was hit by a vehicle near High and South Streets. The trooper put the deer down himself and Animal Control was notified. 

11:54 a.m., Main Street. Caller said he might have hit the railroad crossing sign with his vehicle. CSX repaired the sign. 

12:05 p.m., North Street. Caller requested the animal control officer.

2:56 p.m., Boyden Road. Caller said there is a car (2002 Ford Explorer) parked on the street that has been there for a couple weeks. The vehicle belonged to the child of a neighbor.

3:38 p.m., Wilkens Glen. A family disturbance was reported at Wilkens Glen. 

3:44 p.m., Main Street. E911 caller said they had just been attacked by a man from Wilkens Glen. Police found the offender on Main Street and are now seeking a summons for a 33-year-old man from Wildwood Road in Mattapan for trespassing and assault and battery. 

4:18 p.m., Hillcrest Road. E911 caller said he didn't have any power. The man called back to say he blew a fuse. 

4:45 p.m., Stagecoach Drive. Caller reported gunshots in the area. All quiet now. 

7:01 p.m., Pine Street. Caller said a man came to her door and said he was with Verizon. Police confirmed that he is a Verizon employee.

8:23 p.m., Hearthstone Drive. Caller said she heard someone moving the furniture on her porch and she would like ti checked. Police said the house was okay.
