Dog Hit on Route 27, Wires Down, and More

Here's a glance at the Medfield safety log for Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.

Here is a look at the Medfield safety logs for Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.

Friday, Nov. 1

7 a.m., South Street. E911 caller asked for an ambulance for his wife who might not be breathing. Medfield Fire responded.  She was breathing and was taken to Norwood Hospital.

7:02 a.m., Main Street. E911 caller reported a car accident between a 1999 Chevy Lumina and a 2008 Chevy Aveo. No personal injury.

7:49 a.m., Nebo and Foundry Streets. Caller reported a low-hanging wire. Verizon was notified. 

7:53 a.m., Spring Street. Caller said he was at the gas station and his ex-wife came into the station and threatened to call the police on him. He is a defendant in a restraining order. 

8:30 a.m., North Meadows Road and Grove Street. A Richard Road resident said she had been looking for her dog which she found in the middle of North Meadows Road (Route 27) near Grove Street. Animal Control removed the dog. 

8:58 a.m., Main Street. Two E911 callers reported low-hanging wires near the cemetery. The Tree Warden removed a tree branch from the wires.

9:40 a.m., Philip Street. Wires down. Verizon notified.

9:48 a.m., Snyder Road. Wires down. Road closed and NStar notified. 

4:10 p.m., Green Street. Caller said she had been scammed and would like to file a report.

4:20 p.m., High Street. Dover Police reported a deer hit near Starmount Farm. The deer was gone when they got there.

Saturday, Nov. 2

6:31 a.m., Pound Street. E911 caller said there was a man in her backyard and is now on her porch. She spoke to the man who said he was dropping off the newspaper. Police spoke with the man who was a newspaper person.  

10:42 a.m., Main Street. Gas station employee said a driver's credit card did not process and they drove off. Police said it appeared to be accidental and tried several times to contact the driver of the 2009 Toyota Camry.  

11:23 a.m., West Street. Residents came into staton to drop off a list of items taken in a previous break-in.  

11:27 a.m., Causeway Street. Resident said she received a cell phone call from "Tony" who claimed that her brother was in the hospital and then attempted to get money from the resident. The resident does not have a brother but she did have caller ID.  

1:11 p.m., Carmen Circle. Caller said she has property that needs to be returned to someone who cannot be on the property.  

3:18 p.m., Green Street. Walk-in report of someone blowing leaves into the middle of Green Street. Police could not locate the problem.  

7:43 p.m., station. Walk-in report from a Millis woman who said her husband violated a restraining order yesterday while getting gas on Spring Street.   

10:24 p.m., High Street. E911 caller said she could not shut off her water and it's all over the floor. Medfield Fire responded and shut off the water.  

10:56 p.m., Tannery Drive. E911 caller said he heard two loud bangs, possibly gunshots. Nothing found.
