Dead Fox, Encroaching Cones, Tree Down, and More

The following information was provided by the Medfield Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Here is a glance at the Medfield police log for July 29. 

Monday, July 29

3:22 a.m., Pederzini Drive. A burglar alarm was activated on Pederzini Drive. Police reported the house was secure. 

5:40 a.m., High Street at Garry Drive. Caller reported two traffic cones blocking traffic on Garry Drive and High Street. Police discovered two cones with "No Parking" on them, and they were not blocking the road. 

7:09 a.m., station. Police reported an equipment problem to Verizon who will be out today to fix it. 

7:36 a.m., High Street. Caller reported a dead cat on Route 27 near Forest Street. Police discovered it was a fox and it is in the roadway. Animal Control was notified. 

7:59 a.m., North Street. Caller said he is behind a dump truck towing a trailer and it is all over the road. Police located the vehicle and said there was no problem with the driver.

9:03 a.m., Orchard Street. Burglar alarm accidentally activated by homeowner. 

9:10 a.m., Causeway Street. Police discovered a small tree was down on top of wires. NSTAR was notified. 

10 a.m., Main Street. Shop manager called to say he wanted to speak with police about a "male subject."
