Dead Dog, Sick Raccoon, Trouble at Tilden Village

Thursday, March 14

7:17 a.m., Pound Street. Crossing guard said she can't cover Pound Street crossing. Police will handle.

10:10 a.m., Bridge Street. Walk-in resident wanted to talk to police about a civil matter.

1:53 p.m., South Street. Motor vehicle stop.

4:55 p.m., Pound Street. Tilden Village manager called to say he has had several phone calls about very loud music coming from one apartment. Police spoke with some of the parties there and the problem is not loud music but is a problem between two neighbors. 

7:33 p.m., South Street and Indian Hill Road. Caller reported glass in the road. Highway Department will clean up.

8:25 p.m., Pound Street. A physician requested a well-being check on an 87-year-old woman whom he has not been able to get by phone. Police said she is okay and will call the doctor this morning. 

8:59 p.m., Main and Hartford Streets. Caller reported an erratic driver going west on Route 109. The caller said she was pulling out of Hartford Street when a gray Toyota SUV, going west on Main Street, almost hit her vehicle and another vehicle. Police could not find the vehicle. 

11:16 p.m., Main Street. Millis Police asked for assistance on stopping a vehicle. Millis asked Medfield for help stopping a vehicle on Main Street. 

Friday, March 15

3:41 a.m., North Street. Caller reported her alarm just went off and the front door was ajar. Police reported nothing found.

1:50 p.m., Pound Street. Police out with manager of Tilden Village regarding a problem with a guest.

5:10 p.m., Pound Street. Manager of Tilden Village into station with a letter of disinvite for someone who sometimes stays with her mother in Tilden Village. 

6:23 p.m., Deerfield Drive. Possible sick raccoon in the street. Animal Control responded; raccoon ran off into the woods.

7:45 p.m., Lee Road. Caller reported her 90-pound dog (lab) has died on the back deck and she needs help picking up the dog. Dover Animal Control responded; the dog was taken to Walpole Vet. 

10:59 p.m., Pleasant Street. E911 caller reported his wife having difficulty breathing. Refused transport to the hospital.
