Daughter with Knife, Deer on South Street, Dead Animal

Here's a glance at the Medfield safety logs for Feb. 21 and Feb. 22.

 

Thursday, Feb. 21

12:57 a.m., Wilkins Glen Road. E911 caller reports her 16-year-old daughter showed her a knife and went upstairs with it. She is unsure what she is going to do with the knife. Police responded and said the matter was solved, "no problem at this time."

8:43 a.m., High Street. Caller said there is a dead animal in the road on High Street by Garry Drive. Animal Control was notified. 

11:05 a.m., Main Street. E911 caller reported a car accident in the CVS parking lot.

2:52 p.m., Elm Street. Police responded to a car accident on Elm Street where the driver hit a tree.

3:40 p.m., Westwood. Westwood Fire Department called via the fire radio and asked the Medfield Ambulance to go to the Westwood Lodge Hospital. 

4 p.m., Farm Street. Caller reporetd a car accident at Farm Street and Hickory Drive. 

Friday, Feb. 22

4:52 a.m., South Street. Caller said he hit a deer at Route 27 and South Street. Police found the deer on Route 27 near South Street near the speed limit sign on the snowbank.

5:51 a.m., Frairy Street. Caller said someone went through his car on Thursday in Medway and a set of keys were taken. He requested extra checks on his house.

12:43 p.m., Steven Lane. Caller reported odor of gas. Medfield Ambulance was dispatched and reports there is an odor and Columbia Gas arrived at 1:30 p.m.

1:11 p.m., Charlesdale Road. Caller reported a suspicious truck in the area. Police said the red pickup truck was doing work in the area and was leaving business cards in the area.

7:41 p.m., Main Street. An alarm in the library indicated a broken pipe in the basement.
