Choking One-Week-Old Baby, Summons Served, and More

Here's a look at the latest Medfield police logs.

Here is a look at the Medfield safety logs for Nov. 17 and Nov. 18.

Sunday, Nov. 17

5:25 a.m., Forest Street. E911 caller said his son was having a seizer. Medfield Ambulance took him to Norwood Hospital.

8:04 a.m., 6:56 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's Church. 

9:14 a.m., Main Street. Traffic control at the United Church of Christ.

9:35 a.m., Green Street. E911 caller asked for an ambulance for a 71-year-old diabetic man who was feeling light-headed and nauseous. Medfield Ambulance took him to Norwood Hospital.

10:33 a.m., Main Street. An ambulance was called to the United Church of Christ for a woman who fell and cut her head. Medfield Ambulance took her to Norwood Hospital.

10:54 a.m., Pondview Avenue. Caller said his mailbox had been pulled out of the ground. 

1:35 p.m., Pound Street. E911 caller had a noise complaint at Tilden Village. Peace restored.

5:05 p.m., Bridge Street. E911 caller asked for an ambulance for a 51-year-old diabetic woman whose levels were high. Medfield Ambulance took her to Norwood Hospital. 

9:53 p.m., Pound Street. E911 caller said her one-week-old baby was choking and not breathing. Child then started to cry. The police and fire departments responded. Child was breathing and warm to the touch. Medfield Ambulance took the child to Norwood Hospital.

10:05 p.m., Harding Street. Resident said he smelled smoke in the house and the garage looked a little hazy.

Monday, Nov. 18

9:25 a.m., Elm Street. Caller reported suspicious activity. He said that on Saturday and Sunday mornings a car pulled into his driveway shining a spotlight on the house. He was not sure if it was the newspaper person but he wanted it noted. 

3:07 p.m., Frairy Street. A summons was served from the District Attorney's Office. It was left at the apartment.

4:36 p.m., Dale Street. Police noticed a suspicious vehicle (1987 Ford Mustang) in the cemetery that left when police pulled in. 

5:43 p.m., North Meadows Road. Walk-in report of a car (2001 Audi) passing him while in traffic; he wanted it logged.
