Either crime is down from past months or something else is going on with these reports. Not only are they sporadic but details are lacking. I suppose this is what we get when it's a non-paid volunteer job.

Hi David, The police log runs Mon. through Fri. on Barnstable-Hyannis Patch. In Oct. we added the Barnstable District Court log that runs Mon. through Fri., too. So we have increased our crime coverage. It is the off-season, perhaps that explains the decrease in crime! The editor of Barnstable-Hyannis Patch is a paid position. However, Barnstable-Hyannis Patch encourages the community to use the site as a forum where readers can participate by either posting comments, events, press releases and announcements as well as starting conversations around community issues. It's your site, too!
