Cars Parked on Graves, Fireworks, 104 Fever, Pigeon, and More

Thursday, July 4

2:16 a.m., Main Street. Caller reported an injured swan or goose on the bridge of Route 109 near the Millis line. Animal Control was notified. Gone on arrival.

9:23 a.m., Causeway Street. Caller reported a disabled vehicle in a bad spot with no one around. 

1:54 p.m., Main Street. Walk-in report of cars being parked on grave plots in the cemetery. Cars were moved. 

4:25 p.m., Cottage Street. Problem with railroad crossing lights. CSX responded at 5:23 p.m. 

7:34 p.m., Belknap Road. Caller reported fireworks in the area.

8:14 p.m., Pine Street. Caller needed help removing someone from his house. 

9:47 p.m., Green Street. Caller reported fireworks, possibly near Hinkley Pond.

Friday, July 5

12:07 a.m., High Street. Caller reported the truck in front of him is all over the road. Truck turned onto South Street toward Elm Street. Police said there was no problem with the truck. 

3:21 a.m., Pound Street. Caller wanted an ambulance for himself. Taken to Natick. 

4:16 a.m., North Street. Caller reported a car accident involving a 2011 Toyota Prius. Car was towed.

7:14 a.m., Blacksmith Drive. Caller said his 13 year old son has a 104 degree fever and is passing in and out. Taken to Norwood Hospital.

8:15 a.m., Causeway Street. Caller said she has a trapped skunk. 

9:12 a.m., Wood End Lane. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle (red pickup truck) in the area. Gone on arrival but police later tracked him and discovered he was delivering phone books. 

12:36 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported they have a pigeon in their store.
