Breaking and Entering, Suspicious Comings and Goings, and More

Here's a look at the Medfield Police Log for July 31 and August 1.

Wednesday, July 31

9:06 a.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a possible disabled motor vehicle near Hospital Road. Police spoke with the man who has a ride on the way and AAA will tow the vehicle.

10:34 a.m., Carmen Circle. Walk-in report of suspicious activity at a house where there are people "coming and going all the time" and vehicles racing up and down the street. 

5:30 p.m., Causeway Street. Caller said someone broke into his mother's house. Patch is gathering more information. 

8:19 p.m., Main Street. Norwood Police reported a possible drunk driver in a 2009 Mazda. Police spoke with the driver who was home on Trailside Road and in for the night.

9:14 p.m., Spring Street. E911 caller reported a propane gas leak at a gas station. Fire Chief Bill Kingsbury was able to turn off the gas and stop the leak. The repair company arrived at 10:34 p.m. and fixed the leak. 

Thursday, August 1

8:36 a.m., Harding Street. Caller from Dover Farm Road reported a lot of noise coming from a neighbor's house. Police checked the house and said it was now quiet. 

10:20 a.m., North Street. Caller requested an ambulance for a patient. Medfield Ambulance took her to Norwood Hospital.

11:12 a.m., Hospital Road. CSX railroad said they were having trouble with the Hospital Road crossing, and were on the way to fix it. 

12:46 p.m., Emerson Road. Walk-in report of possible stalking and harassment. 

3:10 p.m., Indian Hill Road. Caller reported a loose dog. Animal Control picked up the dog and took it home. 

4:14 p.m., Causeway Street. Walk-in report of fraud and identity theft.

7:46 p.m., High Street. Caller said his son was out walking and found some abandoned property. 

8:13 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a 2002 Lexus "all over the road" on Hartford Street heading toward Medfield Center. Police pulled the car over in front of Town Hall, and the driver checked out okay. 

10:36 p.m., Frairy Street. Caller reported kids in the back of the building being loud. Police responded.
