Thursday, May 23

6:52 a.m., Dale Street and Charlesdale Road. Traffic enforcement. No violations.

9:03 a.m., Main and Pleasant Streets. No violations.

10:24 a.m., Green Street. Caller said people are driving down Green Street very fast, from the detour, and someone just drove over her lawn. Police said there was a trace of tire tracks but no damage; they put some tape up so it won't happen again.

1:57 p.m., Hospital Road. Traffic enforcement. No violations. 

3:31 p.m., Spring Street. Caller reported a red Cadillac passing cars northbound on the way to town center, and the car almost hit a cyclist. Caller could no longer see the vehicle but thought it might be in the Papa Gino's parking lot. Police found that vehicle but did not think it was the vehicle in question.

6:27 p.m., Green Street. Walk-in report of a baby left in a vehicle (white Volvo) outside a liquor store. Police did not find the car in the parking lot.

7:16 p.m., Colonial Road. Caller reported a snake in the living room. Dover's Animal Control Officer responded.

11:06 p.m., Farm Street. Walk-in report of a large branch near the railroad tracks that is blocking half the road.

Friday, May 24

6:45 a.m., Bridge Street. Traffic enforcement. No violations issued.

6:46 a.m., Tallwood Drive. Requested ambulance for possible stroke or seizure. 

7:27 a.m., Philip and Foundry Streets. Traffic enforcement. No violations issued.

1:24 p.m., Partridge Road. Caller requested police to view damage to their property from a contractor. Police said it was a civil issue. 

3:14 p.m., Elm Street. "The Ride" MBTA department called to say one of their drivers was hit on Elm Street by a truck from Needham. 

6:13 p.m., Main Street. Car accident near the Peak House.

10:46 p.m., Lee Road. Caller said her mailbox was damaged. 

Saturday, May 25

11:17 a.m., West Street. Caller said his oil burner backfired and he has smoke in the house. Public safety reports the oil burner shut down but a fan is needed in the house. 

11:49 a.m., Main Street. Caller reported an erratic driver of a car from New York. Westwood Police were notified and stopped the car in their town. 

3:32 p.m., station. Resident came in for fingerprinting for an application.

4:40 p.m., North Meadows Road. Caller said she left her wallet at the transfer station. The DPW helped her.

6:51 p.m., Glen Street. Caller reported wires down. Dover Police Department was notified.

7:07 p.m., Green Street. Caller said her three-year-old baby is choking. Ambulance was notified. Pre-arrival instructions were given and the caller said the child is making sounds and breathing. Child was taken to Norwood Hospital.
