Tuesday, April 16

7:11 a.m., Spring Valley Road. Caller reported his mailbox was damaged overnight. Value $100.

9:22 am., Main Street. E911 call. Accidental by an employee.

10:38 a.m., Bridge Street. Caller reported a small dog in the area. Animal Control picked up the dog.

11:21 a.m., North Street. Caller requested the Animal Control officer to help her with a sick raccoon in her pool. 

11:28 a.m., Tamarack Road. Caller reported some time last night someone smashed his mailbox. Value $500. 

11:57 a.m., Cypress Street. Caller reported someone damaged her mailbox last night. Value $150.

12:50 p.m., South Street. Caller reported some smoke coming from the ground in front of 179 South Street. Medfield Fire investigated.

1:10 p.m., Forest Street. Caller called from the side of the road and said she might have taken the wrong medication in the morning and she didn't want to drive home.

2 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported blue vehicle in the CVS parking lot with a cat in it and the windows rolled up. Animal Control officer was notified. Gone on arrival. 

7:21 p.m., Caller reported her mailbox was damaged last night after 11 p.m.

8:16 p.m., Rocky Woods. Police removed a motor vehicle from the parking lot at Rocky Woods.

8:28 p.m., Millbrook Road. Police assisted a 2012 Dodge Avenger that was on the side of the road. Wrecker called.

9:26 p.m., Philip Street. Heightened patrol looking for mailbox smashing.

10:15 p.m., Longmeadow Road. Suspicious vehicle (1994 Toyota Camry). 

Wednesday, April 17

3:17 a.m., Philip Street. Walk-in report of water coming out of a manhole cover. Man also has water in his basement. Police confirmed water and Water Department notified. 

7:17 a.m., Hillcrest Road. Caller reported his mailbox and post were damaged. Value $500.

7:49 a.m., Main Street. E911 caller reported a suspicious vehicle in Vine Lake Cemetery. Police spoke with the driver of a Black Lincoln SUV who was a funeral director. 

7:56 a.m., Deerfield Drive. Caller asked to speak with an officer regarding larceny.

9:30 a.m., South Street. Caller reported two dogs (one black, one tan) running around the area. Animal Control notified.

10:22 a.m., Granite Street. Police doing an investigation on Granite Street transported one party into the station. A summons was then sought for a 41-year-old Granite Street resident for assault with a dangerous weapon. 

12:29 p.m., Hartford Street. Police investigated a report of a disabled motor vehicle (2011 Chevy van). The vehicle was soon towed away. 

2:22 p.m., Main Street. Convenience store manager reported a suspicious vehicle in teh parking lot, a van with no plates on it. The manager called back to say he had the van owner in teh store and his own wrecker was on teh way to remove the van.

2:40 p.m., Main and South Streets. Traffic light out at this intersection. Chief Meaney was able to reset the lights.

3:56 p.m., Hearthstone Drive. E911 caller reported a car accident without personal injury; both cars were towed. 

4:38 p.m., West Street. E911 caller reported a two-year-old female fell and hit her head. Medfield Ambulance said they refused transport.

5 p.m., Hospital Road. Security at Medfield State Hospital grounds reported two individuals on the property. Gone on arrival. 

10:29 p.m., Granite Street. A restraining order came through from the Dedham District Court.
