Arrest for Outstanding Warrants, Kids Threw Can at Man, 98-year-old Fall, and More

Here's a look at the Medfield safety logs for Oct. 25 and Oct. 26. 

Friday, Oct. 25

11:59 a.m., Pound Street. Police transported one person from Blake Middle School to Ledgetree Road.

3:43 p.m., Pound Street. Caller said her car was broken into while she was at Blake Middle School today.

3:50 p.m., Kamark Drive. Cell caller said he is on his way home and he would like the ambulance to meet him at his house because he is having chest pains. Millis ambulance responded. He was taken to MetroWest Framingham.

4:32 p.m., High Street. Caller said there was a burning smell inside her house but she didn't see any fire or smoke. Fire officials said it was a problem with the oil burner. 

6:53 p.m., Harding Street. Report of an injured deer. The deer was put down; Highway Department removed it. 

7:32 p.m., Brook Street. Caller reported a "pod" parked on Brook Street. Police had given the homeowner permission to leave it there.

8:16 p.m., North Street. Walk-in report from a man who said he was out walking and a car with kids in it went by and threw a beer can at him. 

Saturday, Oct. 26

6:21 a.m., Gun Hill Road. Caller reported trucks idling loudly in the street and they are not supposed to start until 7 a.m. Police did not find any trucks in the area.

11:55 a.m., North Street. Police arrested Nathan Glenn Boddie, 29, of 14 Howard Place, Franklin, on two default warrants: (1) operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and (2) possession of a Class B substance. Taken to Dedham jail; no bail set.

3:01 p.m., Harding Street. Caller said she found two dogs walking up the street. She took home the pug and lab.  There is no Animal Control Officer on duty. 

3:03 p.m., station. Police report that 107 pounds of drugs were taken in during Drug Take Back Day. They were transported to the DEA for destruction. 

4:27 p.m., South Street. E911 caller said his 98-year-old wife fainted and he can't get her off the floor. No transport needed.

5:40 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's Church.

5:47 p.m., Minuteman Road. Caller reported a gold minivan parked on the street then individuals got out with backpacks and went into the woods. Police didn't find anything. 

9:33 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a loud party in the area. The homeowner said they would turn down the music.

11:24 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported loud party. Police said the part will be ending shortly.
