Annoying Phone Calls, Annoying Dirt Bikes, and Gas Smell Discovered in Gas Can

Here's a glance at the safety logs for Feb. 1 (part two) and Feb. 2.

 

6:14 p.m., Elm Street. Caller said she has been receiving a large number of soliciting phone calls which is an on-going problem. The caller said she has a home business and she has to keep running around her house to answer the phone when they call, they are not threatening calls, they just are very annoying when she has to keep answering them. Police told her to call her cell phone company. She will after dinner. 

7:25 p.m., Walden Court. Caller said she has an alarm going off inside her home. She has no smoke or fire. Medfield EMT determined all is okay.

8:08 p.m., Pound Street. Caller said he had three juveniles on the dirt road behind the Middle School. Police were not able to locate the youths or any damage.

8:11 a.m., Clayton Street. ADT reported a fire alarm. Police said the alarm was activated by burned food.

9:16 p.m., Main Street. Caller said NStar will be doing some work at Lovell's tonight and will turn off power for about 30 minutes.

Saturday, Feb. 2

8:11 a.m., Curve and Spring Streets. Caller reported a smell of gas in the area. Medfield Fire investigated.

12:26 p.m., Main and Bridge Streets. Caller reported trash and stones in the road. Highway Department en route.

1:02 p.m., Ledgetree Road. Walk-in report regarding credit card fraud.

1:38 p.m., Indian Hill Road. Medfield Fire said they received a call from this location reporting a smell of gas in the house. They vacated the house and found the smell was coming from a gas can. 

2:22 p.m., Farm Street. Walk-in report of harassing text messages. 

3:45 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control, St. Edward's Church.
