FSMA Schilling Yard Sale a Success/CureSMA Quilt/Golf T-shirts

FSMA Schilling Yard Sale is a Success

All shoppers and volunteers are hopefully defrosted at this point after a chilly and blustery day on the driveway this past Saturday morning at our special FSMA Yard Sale made possible by the Schilling Family.  The sale raised $1450 for the New England Chapter of Families of SMA, bringing our family's October donation total (when added to golf) to over $50,000!!!!  We are so thankful for Curt and Shonda’s amazing support as well as the huge donations from John and Robin Connors that made this sale possible.  Extra thanks to all our helpers – The Cook Family, Neal O’Connor, Jen Hall, Gramps and Lori, Michelle, Debby, and Carol, as well as our honor society student helpers, Kate Thomas and Sally Todd.

Talented seamstress, Melanie Vagnini, is at it again for SMA and this time her beautiful quilt will not only raise funds through the special October raffle going on now nationwide, but also raise awareness once the winner starts putting the quilt to use.  Thanks Melanie for your incredible support over the last 10 years!  Check out the photo of Melanie and William posing with her gorgeous Cure SMA quilt in Families of SMA colors of purple and orange.

We still have some of our annual Life is good tournament tees left for sale.  This year’s design pays homage to Caddyshack with the saying “It’s in the hole” written below a bouncing golf ball finding its way in the hole.  The putty grey shortsleeve tees are $20 and I have limited quantities left in sizes S, M, L and XL.  Contact Heidi Johnson if you’d like to order one.  Checks made payable to FSMA.  Thanks.
