From a press release submitted to Medfield Patch...
On Sunday, the sermon of Rev. Richard Stower at Medfield’s First Parish Unitarian-Universalist Church will be “On the Path.”
Rev. Stower writes, “We are all on a spiritual journey. We make walk on the same path, or different paths; or walk together and then diverge. We Unitarian Universalists understand this and celebrate it. But if we understand that people in the First Parish, Medfield congregation have different theological perspectives, or no theology at all, what is it that holds us together?”
Services begin at 10 am.
The First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church is located near the center of Medfield, at 26 North Street, next to Meetinghouse Pond. It serves residents of Medfield, Millis, Medway, Walpole, Norfolk, and surrounding towns. Child care is available, and there is an active religious education program for children 5-14.
The church especially welcome explorers interested in learning more about the UU principles and values, one of which is a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. The church is a Welcoming Congregation.
