Date Change: St. Edward lecture

On Sunday evening, March 23 the Emmaus Health Committee of St.
Edward’s Church is sponsoring an educational presentation.  This is
the first in what we hope to be an ongoing series that will address
topics of common interest regarding health and wellness.

The lecture will run from 7:00-8:30 in the Parish Hall.

A parishioner and a physician, Dr. Jim Suojanen, will discuss concerns we all share to preserve human dignity in times of serious illness and
at the end of life.  Jim will explain Living Wills and Advanced Directives as well as how to select a Health Care Proxy.  Approved
forms will be available.  He will also examine some of the problems associated with legally sanctioned suicide using prescribed
medications. There will be an opportunity for questions, answers and
discussion.

Please mark your calendar and plan to join us for what promises to be an informative and thought-provoking event.  This lecture series is
open to the whole community.
