Since 2000, the Massachusetts Center for the Book has teamed up with the Massachusetts Library Association, to choose the commonwealth's best fiction, nonfiction, poetry and children's/young adult literature written by Massachusetts writers or is about Massachusetts themes. Winners were chosen by a panel of librarians.
