From about 1964 to 1972 she was the Medfield correspondent for the Quincy Patriot Ledger, covering town government and school news and writing feature articles. For many years she was also an active member of an informal Medfield writing group.MAY B. ALEXANDER, 92 -- May 9, 2013. Formerly of Medfield. For more than twenty years Dorothy ran the Pre-Kindergarten Nursery School in Medfield. GREGORY ROBERT FINN, 62 -- April 17, 2013. Formerly of Medfield. He received a full scholarship to Marshall University in West Virginia where he played against Jack Lambert of Kent State of the famed "Steel Curtain Pittsburg Steelers." A major knee injury his senior year prevented him from traveling with the team to the fateful East Carolina University football game in which the entire football team, coaches, boosters and family members were killed in a fiery plane crash returning home from the game. It was this plane crash that the movie "We Are Marshall" honored.GAIL M. FOURNIER, 63 -- April 12, 2013. Gail lived in Medfield for 35 years with her two children, Janine and Greg. She defined perseverance and lived her life with integrity, character, loyalty and enduring humor.JAMES T. FRAME JR., 103 -- April 21, 2013. After World War II, he and his young family moved to Medfield where he and his friend Ed Daniels started Pilgrim Infants' Wear. Jim was chairman of the school committee, a trustee of Medfield Congregational Church, played saxophone and bassoon in the community orchestra, built a pram on his family's dining room table, square danced, and hosted many wonderful laughter-filled parties in their fine old 1680 house with his greatly loved Janet.DONALD A.
