Helen Pate Landers, 87, of Anniston, Alabama, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Benefield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Cade Farris officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth (North) Cemetery. Miss Landers passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Miss Landers is survived by one niece, Mary Helen Kiley, of Medfield, Mass., two nephews, Hank Landers M.D., of Borger, Texas and Bob Landers, of Arlington, Texas.
Miss Landers was born January 8, 1925, the daughter of Pate Van Buren and Teddie Hinton Landers. She was a retired teacher with Calhoun County Board of Education and a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Wilson H. Landers Sr.
