HOWES, Ethel Nay (Demery) Carr, 91, May 19, 2013. Worked at the Medfield State Hospital and Tofias Hat Shop in Medfield. 

O'GRADY, Margaret Mary (Griffin), 89, May 27, 2013. Graduated from Medfield High School. Served in the Navy during World War II.

OGLESBY, Loretta A. (Poirier), 83, May 7, 2013. Worked in the Medfield High School cafeteria for many years. 

PARK, Priscilla Maude Cheney, 91, May 2, 2013. Lived her entire life in the house she was born in, the Cheney homestead, also known as Station Farm, on Farm Street in her beloved Medfield.

RAYNER, Hazel E. (Dimick), 97, May 21, 2013. Described as an avid reader, dog lover, cookie fanatic, pecan pie baker. 

WALSH, Sister Mary K. (Sister Donatus), May 27, 2013. Formerly missioned as Faith Formation Director at St. Edward the Confessor Parish, among others. Beloved member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston for 67 years.

ADAMS, Arthur, Jr., May 31, 2013. Was a well-known and well-loved figure in Dover, serving as a Scoutmaster there for 41 years.

BLACK, Harrison, M.D. 94, May 10, 2013. Was a nationally-renowned thoracic surgeon and pioneer in open heart surgery at the Brigham Hospital in Boston, and served as a faculty member at Harvard Medical School.

FENTON, Helen (Powers) 86, May 30, 2013. Late retired secretary to the Head Master of Brooks School (1974-19910 and active member of the United Professional Horsemens Association.

MACE, Adelaide "Bunny" (Rowley)May 22, 2013. Formerly lived in Dover. Earned her pilot's license in 1930 (one of the youngest pilots of her time) flying an open cockpit American Eagle bi-plane. Was on the cover of The Aerologist Magazine in 1930. 

McEWAN, John F., Ed.D., 64, May 15, 2013, after a five-year battle with melanoma. Served as Dover-Sherborn Housemaster from 2000-2001. 

SMITH, Genevieve, 94, May 14, 2013. Retired from Avon Products where she was a district sales manager from 1950 until 1980. 

STONE, Henry Sawyer, 97, May 15, 2013. World War II veteran and a "multi-faceted man." The full obituary is HERE. Memorial Service to be held on Friday, June 14 at 11 a.m. at The Dover Church, 17 Springdale Avenue, Dover. 

SHERBORN

CROWELL, Kenneth S., 93, May 11, 2013. Moved to Sherborn in 1953. A community service-oriented man, serving on the Board of Health, Board of Selectmen, Computer Study Committee, Council on Aging, Elderly Housing Committee, and was Town Accountant for 31 years before retiring in 1999 at age 80.  

HEATH, Marianna, 97, May 31, 2013. A well-known horticulturalist who worked as a grower and designer, founding her own garden design business in the 1960s in which she was active until her death. 

SALVI, Antoinette M. (Strozzi), 93, formerly of Sherborn, June 4, 2013. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Maryknoll Fathers P.O. Box 302 Maryknoll NY 10545.

CIRIELLO, Catherine E. (Brooks) May 27, 2013. Was a Special Education teacher with the Westwood Public Schools and an accounts receivable bookkeeper for Crown Clothing of Westwood.

ECCLESTONE, Carlotta M. (Vitali), 88, formerly of Westwood, May 20, 2013. Taught piano for 40 years. 

GOSSAGE, Oscar S., May 16th, 2013. Retired U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force veteran.

JOHNSON, Paula (McCarthy), June 9, 2013. At Paula's initiative, the U.S. State Department collaborated with the Anglo-American School of Moscow to open a branch school in Leningrad in 1991. She served as this school's first and only teacher during that first year. Today, the Anglo-American School of St. Petersburg, as the school is now known, has over 140 students and serves 27 nationalities.

SKARINKA, Helen Victoria (Oberlander), 89, May 18, 2013. Worked for the War department and was a parishioner of St. Denis Church and member of the sodality. Her life-long passion was her family and sewing. 

XENOS, John Peter, June 6, 2013. Inventor and World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
