Medfield Resident Andrew F. Thompson, Jr. Dies at 84

Andrew F. Thompson, Jr., 84, of Medfield, died of cancer on Sunday, Feb. 16 peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family. 

Beloved husband of Ann (Brosnahan) Thompson. Loving father of Barbara Gips and her husband James, Michael Thompson and his wife Tanya and John Thompson and his wife Lisa all of Medfield, Andrew Thompson of Monroe, NC, Mary Ellen Thompson of Shrewsbury and David Thompson and his wife Heather of Charlotte, NC. Brother of Norma Curran and her husband Bob of Blufron, SC and Terrence Thompson and his wife Elizabeth of Ocala, FL. Also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 1 great grandson.  

A Memorial Mass Celebrating his life will be held Wed. Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring St., Rte 27, Medfield. Relatives and friends may visit with his family Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Roberts-Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Miller St., Medfield.
