Dorothy A. (Pulsifer) Hewey, 83, of North Bellingham died Dec. 22, 2013, at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge. She was the beloved wife of Eldon W. Hewey, Jr. Born in Malden on March 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (DeChamps) Pulsifer.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Hewey worked at Corning Diagnostics in Medfield for many years. She was a communicant of St. Brendans Church in Bellingham and enjoyed ballroom dancing and gardening. Mrs. Hewey cherished her family and time spent with her grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Marie A. Hewey of Bellingham, Paul M. Hewey of Cumberland, RI, William J., Hewey of Uxbridge and Linda G. Horne of Uxbridge, ten grandchildren, her sister Helen Kellegher of Irvine, CA, and her loving caregiver, Cheryl Escudero at the Lydia Taft House.
