Ten Days until Medfield Green Day - Saturday, May 4th

GREEN DAY is a drive thru donating and recycling event held annually to provide residents with a quick and easy way to pass along useable but unwanted items.

Do you have the urge to purge your home of items you no longer want or need?  We have just the solution.  Bring these items down to the 5th Annual Medfield Green Day on Saturday, May 4th from 9 to 12 p.m. at the American Legion Post, 110 Peter Kristof Way, Medfield.  You can clear your clutter, help people in need, and help the environment all at the same time.

A committee of Medfield Green volunteers, led by Donna Brown White, has been meeting regularly over the past months to plan this one stop donating and recycling event.  Each committee member oversees a certain donation area such as metals, children’s donations, furniture, books–just to name a few.  Over the next week, we will be sharing blog posts written by these volunteers that will give you more information about their specific area.  Tomorrow, we will highlight furniture donations to be collected by Boomerangs, owned and operated by the AIDS Action Committee of MA, Inc.
