MHS Students Help Out This Saturday at Medfield Green Day

Medfield High School students from Cynthia Blum's Environmental Science class will be volunteering at Medfield Green Day this Saturday from 9 a.m to noon at the American Legion.

Medfield Green’s 5th Annual Medfield Green Day will be held on Saturday, May 4th    at the American Legion.  Once again, the high school students from Cynthia Blum’s Environmental Science class will be volunteering at the event.  The students help to direct traffic, provide information to cars as they drive in, empty out vehicles, set up tables,  load up trucks, sort through clothing and shoes, pack up household items and breakables, fold up linens/blankets, pack up books, DVDs  and toys  and help with clean up!  They do a plethora of odd jobs during the entire event which takes place early on Saturday!  They have lots of energy, despite the early hour and are very friendly and courteous to the drivers coming in and the adult volunteers. They work very hard and they are a huge help that day!  This year we even have them helping to spread the word about the event to their friends, families and neighbors!  We are looking forward to another successful Medfield Green Day 2013 and we could not do it without them!  For more information about Medfield Green Day, please visit www.medfieldgreen.org or view the Medfield Green Day promo produced by Medfield TV.
