Announcing Medfield Green Month in May

Announcing the first Medfield Green Month!

Medfield Green Day, a community recycling event has morphed into Medfield Green Month!  It is a collaboration of Medfield Green, the Town of Medfield and generously sponsored by MEMO.

Medfield Green Month will give residents in Medfield a month long opportunity to dispose of items formerly collected on just one Saturday in May.  This year, at the transfer station, on every Saturday in May, from 9 am to 1 pm, multiple vendors will be present to collect your unwanted items for donation, reuse and recycling.  There will be a different vendor/collection each Saturday.   Following is a list of dates and items that will be collected.  Note that some collections will take place off-site.

              May 3            Electronics

                                    Paper shredding

Note: the Swap Area at the transfer station will also be open starting in May.  Several of the vendors have specific requirements as to what they do and do not accept. See medfieldgreen.org for more details.

In addition, there are a few ongoing collections.  The Medfield Public Library is always accepting books and Cradles to Crayons has a bin for children’s clothing at Green and Clear Cleaners.
Spring clean without filling up a lot of trash bags and provide support to those in need!
Transfer station stickers are required to donate items. Discounted stickers can be purchased for $25 at Town Hall.
