Meet Banjo, an adoptable dog at the Medfield Animal Shelter

Every week the Medfield Animal Shelter features a pet available for adoption. Banjo is a sweet and gentle dog who loves to go for walks and loves to be with people.

Banjo was given up because his owner lost his home and was unable to find a situation to move into where Banjo was welcome. He is 10 years old, but acts more like he's 4.  He is very friendly, playful and lively and loves to go for walks. His tail is always wagging and he loves to give kisses. He seems to know some commands such as Sit and Paw.  Since he hasn't lived with kids, we will only place him in a home with kids ages 12 and up. This "young" fellow weighs 66 lbs. and is in great shape. He loves to play fetch, go for car rides and loves long walks in the woods. He gets very excited when he sees squirrels and rabbits so we think he needs a home where he is the only pet. The few dogs he has met he gives just a very short wag and then wants nothing to do with them. A fenced in yard would be a real plus as he loves time to run and play and is good at amusing himself with toys. Please e-mail info@medfieldshelter.com if you would like to meet this great dog.
