Meet Bailey: Medfield Shelter Featured Pet of the Week

Every week the Medfield Animal Shelter features and adoptable pet. This week it is Bailey, a very sweet Pembroke Corgi.

Meet Bailey

Bailey is an adorable Pembroke Corgi who was just spayed and updated on her vaccinations and is now looking for a home.  She is extremely sweet, but needs to be the only dog in her next home, because she will get in squabbles with other dogs, especially around food.

Bailey has lived with a cat and is good with kids. She loves the water, loves to play fetch and loves to take walks. In spite of clearly being confused about why she is at the shelter, her tail is always wagging and she seems to like everyone she meets. She is a very gentle and sweet dog. The owners that relinquished her said she needs a home with no other dogs, because she got into fights with their other dogs, especially over food. She is not completely housebroken and will need an owner around often enough to take her outside several times during the day. She does know to go to the bathroom outside when taken out and just needs a consistent schedule. If you are interested in adopting Bailey, please fill out our dog adoption application
