Medfield Animal Shelter Featured Pet for the Week of November 26, 2012

Every week the Medfield Animal Shelter features a pet available for adoption. Oscar is a sweet and gentle Chihuahua mix.

Oscar would love a stable home for the rest of his life. He was born in one home and then sold to an owner who decided to sell him on Craig's List. Eight  months later his third owner was incarcerated, and Oscar found himself on the streets scared and hungry. Luckily he was picked up by animal control and brought to a shelter. He is very thin but has kept his good nature and is asking that his fourth home be his final home. Up until he was rescued, he hadn't been to the vet or been neutered, but that is all about to change. There must have been someone that loved him because he is still willing to give us kisses and be held. This sweet fellow has lived with small dogs and children and did well with them so we will see how he does at the Shelter with our volunteers' children.  He is not 100% housebroken but that should improve with crate training and a routine of walks.  He will be neutered on November 28th, but we are accepting applications for him now.
