Babe the Pitbull/Lab Mix is Pet of the Week

Babe needs an adopter or foster home

Shortly after taking in Babe we discovered she is heartworm positive so we are looking for a foster home or permanent family to care for her while she goes through treatment. The Medfield Shelter will pay for all of her vet care.

Babe is a very sweet Pitbull/Lab mix who needs a new home because her owner's husband died and then she lost her home and was forced to move in with a relative. She loved Babe, but struggled to be able to afford to care for her.  

Babe is three or four years old, completely housebroken, good with dogs and loves to play with them. She is super sweet and thinks she is a lap dog.  She loves to give kisses and seems to like everyone. She loves to play with toys and knows sit, paw and down and enjoys playing fetch. She also enjoys car rides and is well behaved in the car. Babe is used to having a fenced yard but is also very good on a leash.
