Adorable Terrier Mix Looking for a Home with a Canine Companion

Betty is a very cute 11-month-old mixed breed Terrier who only weighs around 12 lbs. She is a scared and somewhat skittish dog but one of the dog trainers that generously volunteers her time started working with her and the change after just one session was remarkable. She went from anxiously barking in her kennel to calmly lying on her dog bed. She will need an experienced dog owner willing to sign her up for training and committed to getting her out and about to experience new things. She is more scared of men than women, but once she gets to know you she is super sweet. Betty loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident dog that likes to play. She likes to be handled but can get frightened if she does not know someone is grabbing for her, so she needs a home without small children.
