Adorable and kid-friendly Chihuahua mix available for adoption

Diego is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who lived in a house with 8 kids. Unfortunately with people coming in and out of the house all the time and no safe place to keep him so he wouldn't have access to the door, he would escape from the house and became well-acquainted with the local ACO.  He is a cute and playful little dog (he is only about 10 lbs.) and will need a fenced yard and a family that understands they need to be careful about keeping him from running out the door. He loves to go for walks and is very gentle and friendly.  He has not tried to escape at the Shelter, so we think it won't be hard to manage him in a house as long as family members are careful not to leave doors open.
