MEMO Announces Medfield Day Booth Winners

Medfield Afterschool Program wins best overall booth at MEMO's Medfield Day.

and it was a day filled with sun, fun, food, families and competing businesses. 

Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization, Inc. (MEMO) encouraged all Medfield businesses who participated to decorate their booth using this year's theme "Medfield Treasures."

On Medfield Day, booths were viewed and judged by "secret" judges and those choices were approved at MEMO's recent meeting ... and here they are:

  • The "Best Overall" booth winner was the . MAP's booth and all those working at it were dressed in pirate costume and they gave out gold coins to passers by. The coins represented the children of MAP - the kids are their treasures. The costumes were outstanding and by winning this category, MAP will be given a booth at next year's Medfield Day - free of charge.
  • The "Best Representing the Theme" booth winner was the "" booth. They decorated their booth in black and purple and filled treasure chests with purple beads and money.
  • The "Best Representing the Exhibiting Business" booth winner was "Terry's Fine Woodworking." Local craftsman, Richard Terry, filled his booth with outstanding photographs of his work. 
  • The fourth and final category was the "Most Educational" booth.  The "Bay Colony Rail Trail" was the winner.
