Hinkley Swim Pond
Summer is in full swing at the Hinkley Swim Pond. 2014 marks the 53rd years the Pond has served as the Town’s primary facility for summer aquatics. Each year the Pond is drained, its bottom raked to remove debris that collected during the off season, and approximately eight truckloads of fresh sand added to the beach and swim areas. The pond is also tested weekly for bacteria. This means that the water quality remains high and offers a refreshing beach setting right here in Medfield.

We also have Hinkley Swim Pond memberships, swim lessons and registration for the summer swim team available now! Forty-five minute swim lessons are available for all levels at 11:00am and 1:15pm for Level 1 (Pre-K age) to Level 3. Trained Water Safety Instructors place your child into the appropriate level on Monday.

Karen O'Connell and Michelle Pound will be returning to coach the swim team.  They have a lot of enthusiasm and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. Visit the Medfield Marlins website at  medfieldmarlins.org  for schedules, meet and swim suit information. The Medfield Marlins swim team is open to Medfield youth only, ages 5 to 18. Proof of residency is required to participate on the swim team.
