Selectmen's Table Was Missing Someone Tuesday Night

Folks are bound to be thinking something was missing at last night's Board of Selectmen's meeting, and they'd be right.

This will be the first time in 30 years that Ann Thompson was not sitting at the table as a selectman.

Last month, Thompson opted not to run again for the seat she first took in 1983 after serving five years as a library trustee and five years on the warrant committee. Thompson said she plans to continue to serve on the many committees to which she was appointed as a selectman.
