3 p.m., Medfield Public Schools are on holiday break starting Monday, Dec. 23, and will return to school on Jan. 2.  

Saturday, Dec. 21

9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., Zebra's Bistro. Gingerbread House classes. Every Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 22. Reservations suggested.

Sunday, Dec. 22

9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., Zebra's Bistro. Gingerbread House classes. Today is the last session for the season. Reservations suggested.

10:30 a.m., St. Edward's Church. Christmas Pageant following the 9:30 a.m. Mass.

Tuesday, Dec. 24 - Christmas Eve Services

  • Episcopal Church of the Advent: 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. 
  • First Baptist Church of Medfield: 6 p.m. candlelight service
  • First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church: 5:30 p.m. candlelight service
  • Saint Edward the Confessor: 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. (starting with Carols at 7:30 p.m.) 
  • United Church of Christ: 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 25 -- Merry Christmas, Medfield! 

  • Episcopal Church of the Advent: 10 a.m.
  • Saint Edward the Confessor: 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. 

Thursday, Jan. 2

7 a.m., Students return to classes at Medfield Public Schools.

Saturday, Jan. 4

8 a.m., Christmas Tree curbside pickup by Medfield Boy Scout Troop 89. Advance reservations at medfieldtroop89@hotmail.com or 508-359-1574; be sure to specify which pick-up date is preferred, along with your name, address and telephone number. Confirmations will be sent by return email. Pickup fees based on tree size: regular sizes $12, oversized (10’ tall or over 5’ wide) $17; wreaths or garland are an additional $2 per wreath. Additional trees are an additional $5 per tree. Trees must be outside the home by 8 a.m. on the day of pickup, preferably curbside. Cash or checks payable to BSA Troop 89 are accepted and should be secured to the tree, your mailbox or your front door. Proceeds support Troop 89 ongoing community-service activities and future scouting events. Medfield residents only.
