NORFOLK DUNKIN' DASH 5K RACE

Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, is sponsoring the 7th annual Norfolk Dunkin’ Dash 5K Road Race and Kids’ 1K Fun Race on Sunday, April 29 at 9:00 a.m. Thanks to the sponsorship commitment from Dunkin’ Donuts with the help of the Norfolk Lions Club, 100% of the race proceeds will go directly to various Norfolk charities.

Along with the 5K Road Race and Kids’ 1K Fun Race, activities include a raffle with prizes such as a football signed by New England Patriots alum, Dan Koppen, a post-race cookout, a DJ and an appearance by the Dunkin’ Donuts mascot. Additionally, New England Patriots Alumni will kick-off the Kids’ 1K Fun Race and will be available for a meet-and-greet session. 

Registration is now open online at http://norfolkruns5k.com/Registration.html or at the Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant located at 134 Main Street in Norfolk. The pre-registration race fee is $20, the day-of race fee is $25 and children 12 and under can register for $5.  A $5 registration fee is also available for active members of the military, including Guard & Reserve (must show ID card at registration desk). The first 100 people to register receive a free t-shirt.

Additionally, the top three male and female in each age group (12 and under; 13-16; 17-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and older) will receive awards. The male and female with the fastest time overall will be awarded with a new pair of custom Reebok sneakers.
