Medfield Green Day 2012

Medfield Green Day, organized by a group of volunteers of the Medfield Green Organization will be held today from 9 am - 12 pm at the American Legion Hall.  Medfield Green Day, sponsored by MEMO, was created to help find homes for things you no longer use or need as a way to keep items out of our landfills.

This one-stop reuse and redistribution event is a great opportunity to pass on your unwanted items for use by someone else. Items that will be collected this year include:

  • Baby Gear: (Strollers, Car Seats, High Chairs, Clothing, etc.)
  • Books, videos, DVDs: (Please no magazines, encyclopedias or text books)
  • Clothing and Shoes for all ages and sizes
  • Decorative Items: (Mirrors, framed artwork, home decor, lamps and small pieces of furniture)
  • Electronics: (TV's, radios, phones, computers, monitors, etc.  (There is a $5 - $25.00 fee for some items)
  • Eyeglasses: (The Medfield Lions will provide a collection box for eyeglasses)
  • Household Goods: (Dishes, Cookware and Small Appliances)
  • Linens: (Blankets, comforters, towels, sheets, curtains, etc.)
  • Metal: (Snow blowers, lawn mowers, grills, stoves, engines, refrigerators, washers, patio furniture, etc.)
  • Pet items: (Beds, crates, toys, leashes, collars, cages)
  • Small household items: (lamps, dishes, etc.)
