American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days® / Community Coordinator Volunteers Needed

The following was provided by the American Cancer Society.

As one of the American Cancer Society’s oldest and most beloved fundraising programs, Daffodil Days empowers everyone from CEOs to school children to make it their business to help save lives by fighting back against cancer and helping to create a world with more birthdays.

Although Daffodil Days involves offering daffodils to people in appreciation for their contributions, it is about more than just beautiful flowers- it is an opportunity to share hope for a word free from cancer.

Help make a difference today by becoming a Daffodil Days coordinator.  Daffodil coordinators collect donations and allow friends, family members, customers, and coworkers the opportunity to support the Society’s unique mission to save lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer.   With our site at cancer.org/daffodils it is easy to share hope and help save lives.

Daffodils may be ordered by calling your local American Cancer Society office at 800.227.2345 or online at www.cancer.org/daffodils. Advance orders must be placed by March 2, 2012. Delivery will take place the week of March 19, just before the start of spring.  For more about the Society's Daffodil Days, contact your American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345, visit cancer.org/daffodils, or ‘like’ us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/daffodilsMA.
