Medfield residents Kevin Lynch and Alex Opiela are once again organizing the annual bike drive and holding it in conjunction with Medfield Green Day on May 5th at the American Legion Hall from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Don’t throw your old bikes away. Instead, you can donate them with only a $5.00 - $10.00 donation to help defray shipping costs.
Last year, Bikes Not Bombs shipped over 5,000 bikes to underprivileged areas around the world. In past years, bikes have been shipped to Africa, Central America, the Caribbean and New Orleans.
