SOUND HEALING-- A PERFECT GIFT FOR YOURSELF OR A LOVED ONE
Wednesday December 11, 7-9:00pm at the Holistic Wellness Center, 67 West Street, Medfield; Call the Center at 508-359-7400 for more information
$30 per person
Participants lay on yoga mats (or sit in chairs if they prefer) and are bathed in 90 minutes of exquisite sound and tone, ranging from Native American trance drumming/rattling; chant; guided imagery; the didgeridoo; the gong; the shruiti box with OM chanting; and over 20 Himalayan and quartz crystal singing bowls. There is a brief introduction; and a brief time of reflection at the end of each session, for two hours total. This is a deeply therapeutic and profoundly relaxing practice, leaving participants refreshed, released, and renewed. It also makes a unique and thoughtful holiday gift, particularly for those who find it difficult to relax. The sessions are $30 per per person.
Suren Shrestha, a world-renowned sound healer and the author of Healing with Tibetan Sound Bowls, writes:
“Everyone has a vibration that is a signature of their health and well-being. Similar to a musical instrument that can fall out of tune through use, our bodies can also fall out of vibrational harmony and potentially develop illness. Stress and negativity create blockages of a healthy flow of energy, showing up in the energy field around our body as lower energy disturbances at first, and later as illness in our physical body. Sound and vibration can be used to re-tune and return us to health and one of the most powerful modalities for this is the use of singing bowls. When there is a deep relaxation through soothing, resonant sound, the body is affected on a cellular level, opening up the flow of energy to move us back toward health..."
We hope you can join us for one of these blissful events.
See you soon, thanks for reading, and have a peaceful day!
