Franklin Elks 2nd Annual Softball Tournament and Murder Mystery Dinner

Homes for Our Troops is a national non-profit organization founded in 2004 who are strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001.  They assist severely injured Veterans and their families by raising money, building materials and professional labor, and by coordinating the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently. The homes provided by Homes for Our Troops are given at NO COST to the Veterans they serve.For the second year in a row the Franklin Elks #2136 along with Waters Corporation,  Milford will be hosting a benefit to raise money and awareness for this charity. Our first event is Saturday July 27th, 2013 at 8 a.m. at Waters Field, Milford, MA We have one team spot left at this time. Our second event is later that evening at the Franklin Elks lodge 1077 Pond St. Franklin doors open at 6:30 p.m for a Murder Mystery Dinner with a theme of "High School Reunion" put on by Brickroad Productions. We will have food, raffles, and a silent auction with some really great prizes.  All proceeds that night will be donated directly to Homes for Our Troops to help build a home for Cpl. Kevin Dubois who was on his second deployment when he lost both of his legs at the hip after stepping on an IED in Helmand Province, Afghanistan on July 31, 2011. Tickets are now available. $30 per person, or $50 per couple.
