Footbridge Project at Rocky Woods – Volunteers Needed

Work is underway!  The Trustees of Reservations is the proud recipient of a Community Grant from REI, an outdoor equipment cooperative with a local store in Framingham.  With the help of volunteers, this grant will enable us to replace an existing footbridge that crosses Echo Pond, at Rocky Woods in Medfield.  The new bridge will be wider and, more importantly, will have railings.

Your help is needed for this multi-phase project.  Visit The Trustees’ website, www.thetrustees.org/volunteer, for more information and to register up to one day before each event.  Volunteers will gain experience in basic carpentry and construction techniques.  Upcoming workdays include Wednesdays, October 31 and November 7, and Saturday November 10 from 10 am to 3 pm.  Registration is required to aid with project planning.  For questions, please contact charlesrivervalley@ttor.org.
