Chamber Music Concert

Please join us for a Chamber Music Concert suitable for all ages, children and adults on Saturday, January 26 at 2 p.m. at the Medfield Public Library.  This event is free and open to the public.  Donations to the Medfield Library's Music Library are gladly accepted, not required.  Students of the conservatory-trained musicians, Maya Gurevich (piano), Elizabeth Leehey (clarinet), Ellen McKinney (violin, viola) will be performing.  The repertoire will include various classical pieces, one of which is a movement of a Haydn String Quartet.  There will be a movement of Mozart's 'Kegelstadt Trio' for clarinet, viola and piano, as well as various duets and other size ensembles.  As Ellen McKinney noted, 'my colleagues and I want to give our pupils the opportunity to perform chamber music with their peers from different communities in this area in a public setting.  We think it is a valuable experience for the students to be coached by musicians who play their instruments and those who play another instrument.'  Please join us in this celebration of music.
