DETAILS:
Caregiver Care, a program designed by Century Health Systems and the Medfield Council on Aging, aims to serve family caregivers in the MetroWest area. It was designed to provide support and technical skills to individuals who provide care to a family member or friend without compensation.
Pamela Fishman, LSW, Certified Hospice & Palliative Care Social Worker, will discuss palliative care, including what it is; the differences between palliative care and hospice care; who may qualify for palliative care; the benefits of palliative care; and more.
Additionally, Pamela will facilitate a Q&A discussion for attendees.
The Caregiver Care Program is available through grants provided by the Tufts Health Plan Foundation.
