Early Childhood Education: How high quality programs support development in young children

Critical thinking. Collaboration. Communication. Creative problem solving. Can teachers of young children actually cultivate all of these skills in one classroom? And how can high quality early childhood education lay the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning as well as build academic and executive skills?

Join Karen Belsley Pratt, popular early childhood blogger and PreKindergarten teacher at Charles River School, and Jocelyn Bowne, doctoral student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and researcher with the Center for the Developing Child, for a presentation and workshop for parents connecting current research theory and practice in early childhood education.
