Bird Watching Walk on Snow's Hill

Now that spring has sprung, come enjoy the birds and trees! Please join us for a guided walk on Snow Hill on Saturday, May 31st at 8 am, sponsored by the Dover Open Space Committee (OSC). We will take the trail through Dover’s town-owned conservation land across to the old hemlock, one of the oldest trees in Dover. Then we will go up the trails to the fire tower, on the Dover Land Conservation Trust’s Snow Hill reserve. DLCT is a private land trust that is supported by donations from current & former Doverites, and has a number of properties throughout Dover, most of which are open to public walking.

This walk will not be too strenuous but will be over uneven and possibly wet ground so wear appropriate footwear and bring walking sticks, binoculars and cameras. Sorry, no dogs this time. The walk will be 1 ½ to 2 hours and we will stroll in misty rain to shine.

Meet at the small circle at the bottom of Snows Hill Lane by Centre Street.
