ANNOUNCES CALL FOR FILM ENTRIES

Submissions for 1ST ever Millis Film Festival now open!

Millis, MA- Today, the Millis Cultural Council is pleased to announce that the call for submissions of narrative, documentary, and animated films is now open.  Come be a part of something new and have your film become a qualifying entry in the first ever Millis Film Festival.  Each of the films for narrative, documentary, and animation will have student and adult level awards.  There will be a separate general category for Middle School entries.

                Qualifying films will be announced by the end of January.  All qualifying films will be screened at the Film Festival to be held on March 1, 2014 in Millis.  The submissions deadline is January 15, 2014.

                The Millis Film Festival will feature an audience award and juried prizes for narrative and documentary films.  The juried prizes will carry a cash prize to be determined.  For submission forms, qualifying rules and procedures, updates on prize award information, or further information, visit the official website www.mass-culture.org/Millis or the Millis Film Festival Facebook page.

                The Millis Film Festival is for filmmakers and film lovers alike to be entertained and enlightened.  Sponsored by the Millis Cultural Council, the Festival seeks to celebrate independent film and to recognize talented artists, from the local film community, on both sides of the camera.
